For the past two decades a group of more than 90 community bankers has worked together to provide over half a billion dollars of loans for affordable housing, child and elder care services, and urban development for New Jersey's citizens. We are pleased that the vision that we as bankers shared more than twenty years ago has produced measurable and significant results for our neighbors throughout the State.
Through the work of TICIC, we have touched and enriched the lives of a diverse group of men, women, children, and elderly and special needs citizens in New Jersey. We have provided loans that have helped foster a vibrant economy
in urban areas, build houses for hard-working families, educate a work force with viable, useful skills, and answer some of the needs of disabled and elderly residents.
Today, as our organization enters its second generation, we continue our shared commitment and enthusiasm for our work. Our vision remains focused on affordable housing loans and community development efforts to improve the quality of life for the people of New Jersey.
TICIC, Inc. was organized in 1991. TICIC was an initiative of the New Jersey League of Community Bankers. The "League" merged with the New Jersey Bankers Association in 2009. NJ Bankers' members consistently form the nucleus of TICIC's affordable housing and community development efforts throughout the state of New Jersey.
Affordable Housing Loans, in keeping with the tradition of members of NJBankers, has always represented TICIC's primary product.
