Centered between two of the three project phases is the Brick Church that gave the redevelopment plan its name. The project, located in East Orange, consists of a mixed-use and mixed-income development. Two phases of the redevelopment plan encompass similar types of mixed-use developments that provide retail, residential and off-street parking facilities. A third phase, Phase II, consisted of new construction of 18 two and one-half story "For Sale" townhouse units in four buildings.
Phase I and Phase III, each, offer 38,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. In Phase I, levels two through five provide 96 residential rental units with many amenities. The residential units are well-appointed with modern kitchens, ceramic tiled bathrooms, new appliances, dishwasher, central air-conditioning, hardwood floors, and carpeted bedrooms. The building
is safe and secure with card-key access and video surveillance cameras. Phase III, offers 104 residential rental units and 38,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space.
